Historically, iCampPro has offered health form tools that allowed camps to track basic camper health data such as a list of medications and allergies, along with other details collected via custom camp forms. The medication lookup tool allowed camps to act quickly and efficiently during emergency situations. However, this left several camp health center workflows to take place outside of the software.
To maximize efficiency for camp health operations and give admins insights into overall camp wellness concerns, we kicked our health management tools up a notch to truly serve camp health professionals with a flexible, all-in-one health management system.

Mobile-Responsive Camp Health Access
Special user permissions assigned to camp health staff allow access to our health management tools for camper lookup and medication administration views anytime, anywhere, and from any device with an internet connection. Our mobile-responsive layouts ensure seamless operation whether you're in the camp health center, out on the water, or visiting the activities field.
Customizable Camp Health Forms for Registration
In addition to providing basic details about medications or allergies, camps can tailor health forms to suit their needs. Standard built-in fields for medications, allergies, or chronic health conditions allow teams to capture this information to be displayed front and center in the camper’s health profile, available when recording health visits, or during medication administration. Create custom fields in camper health forms to track additional health information relevant to your camp. Custom fields are made visible by reviewing camp health forms.
Streamlined Camper Medication Administration
Managing camper medications is now more organized and user-friendly. Families can enter medication details—names, dosages, instructions, and administration times—directly into camper health forms during registration. A built-in library of over 800 common medications, which can be customized to each camp's needs, and policies that specify available administration times make the process simple and easy to follow.
Medication details are stored on file in the camper health record and used to populate medication administration views in the Admin Portal. These views enable camp health staff to quickly process lists of campers in need of medication during specific mealtimes or bedtime, with clear indicators to help your team ensure that no campers miss a dose. As medication is distributed, campers are removed from the default view of the medication distribution list to help teams work efficiently through groups. To help prevent potential errors, medication cannot be marked as administered for past or future dates from this workflow.
Comprehensive Health Visit Records
When a camper visits your camp’s health center or nurse’s office for an illness or incident, camp health staff can access their record quickly using their name, date of birth, or by scanning an assigned RFID Camper Band. Health staff may document essential information such as temperature, injury details, vitals, the location where an incident occurred, and more. Fields prompt the health staff to describe the treatment given, any medications administered, and upload photos or documents related to the visit for a more complete record of care. Your team can even document communications with the camper’s family about their visit inside of the health record.
Robust Privacy Controls with Permissions
Protect camper privacy and confidentiality with roles and user permissions under user settings. Admins can easily control which team members have access to health views in the software as well as camper form reports. Granting the appropriate roles and abilities for each team member with access to iCampPro helps ensure that sensitive health-related information remains both secure and accessible only by authorized personnel. Additionally, your team’s user profiles can be updated to note any medical certifications for quick internal reference.
Activity Monitoring and Camp Health Insights
Another critical new workflow added with our latest health enhancements is the ability for admins and specified staff users to access a “Universal Log” of all camp health activities. The log enables team members to transform health related data into insights using a combination of search options and filters. Search the log for all health activity related to a particular camper to quickly investigate and export their history for a claim. Or keep an eye on specific data and trends with filters that allow detailed look up about camper injuries, missed medications, or illnesses recorded over a date range. Save custom filtered views for repeat use and monitoring. Together, these tools help camps to be more proactive in keeping campers safe and healthy.

What You Need to Get Started
To use these features, your staff will need access to an internet connection on any device – a hardwired PC or laptop, or a smaller tablet or phone with a Wi-Fi or data connection.
All new iCampPro accounts since these features have been introduced automatically have access to our latest health module tools and enhancements via the “Health” section in iCampPro’s main navigation menu.
For older iCampPro accounts who may have implemented our previous health tools with the Medication Check tool, we advise discussing the upgrade to our newest feature set with one of our team members to plan a transition that will provide camp families and staff with the best experience possible.
